child, or simply need more positive strategies as a parent, we want to offer some unique opportunities for you.
Parenting Skills Development
Parenting Education and Addiction Education are two of the most relevant and needed topics for parents to understand today. The culture that our children are growing up in poses challenges that require us, as parents, to seek help and to raise our children in the context of a growing community. I see so many adolescents, teens and families who are struggling with the basic 2 R’s of parenting: developing respect and responsibility in your child’s life and character. Whether you develop new positive strategies for parenting within the context of group counseling or during individual sessions, the skills and strategies I have put together will better equip you to handle the issues that arise in your family life.
I have put together the following three education programs:
Parenting Your Troubled Child
In this program, we will be answering some of the following questions and discussing some of the following topics:
- What is wrong with my child?
- Is t here anything wrong with me or my parenting?
- Understanding unconditional love.
- Seeing the world through the eyes of your child.
- Setting boundaries, utilizing positive reinforcement and consequences.
Boundaries for Children
In this program, we will be answering some of the following questions and discussing some of the following topics:
- What is a boundary?
- What do healthy boundaries look like?
- What does it mean to enable my child?
- Learn how to cultivate respect in your child’s character.
- Learn how to develop responsibility in your child’s life.

Company Assistance
I have some experience consulting with companies and coming alongside EPA (Employee Assistance Programs), to assist in a variety of issues such as, “RIF” (Reduction In Force), helping survivors, grief among other things.
Cost: Fees will vary with these programs depending on whether or not you are part of a group or come in for individual sessions. Individual sessions will be $150.00 for a 90 minute session. Individual sessions can include one parent or two, or an entire family. For group sessions, the cost will be $40.00/person for a 90 minute session. Group programs are preferred, but will depend on the interest at any given time. You also may be required to buy a book or other printed materials relevant to the group topic.
